Still suffering from site outages.
Most often outages occur from about NOON to 3PM EST
My TECH SUPPORT TICKET has been elevated twice.
This is the latest update I have received from them:
“A review of the logs seems to indicate that various issues may have resulted in the intermittent connectivity problems you are experiencing, ranging from too many backups running at one time, a few users who were abusing CPU limits, and an excess of MySQL queries which maxed out the connection limit on the server (the latter of which would explain the database connection errors you encountered). No single instance of these events appears to have taken very long to identify and address by our Monitoring team, but as mentioned, effectively identifying the cause and resolving the matter is not instantaneous, unfortunately .We apologize for any confusion that occurred during this process, but our Monitoring team will continue to monitor the server for such abnormalities and aim to address any emerging issues as quickly as possible.” HostGator
